 2 Reddened Eyes, by Jamie Peacock --------

 Toby fell onto his bunk, and placed his hands over his stinging eyes.
"Keller betrayed me... everything we had, everything he said I meant to
him, was it all a lie? I thought... I thought someone in this godforsaken
place cared about me. I thought he felt the same..."

 Beecher sat up slowly, straightened and moved his rough hands through the
small mess of hair he had. The inmate breathed a tight, frustrated sigh
and cursed. Oswald Penitentiary was otherwise quiet today, barring a faint
breaking from one of the pods. Tobias Beecher looked toward his heart.
